#7 Exploring the Document Window
You work in the Document window when you open an existing Web page or when you create a new one. Use the File menu to open an existing Web page (File > Open or File > Open Recent to access a list of recently opened pages) or to create a new Web page (File > New).
When you choose File > New, the New Document dialog opens. Throughout this book you will explore some of the more useful categories of new documents, but the first and main type of new document you’ll create in the New Document dialog is a basic page. The basic and main type of Web page you’ll create is an HTML page (Figure 7a).
