Most of the documents you create contain text, so it's important to know how to format, style, and control text in your layouts. Text is made up of characters, and the characters are styled in specific fonts. This chapter explains how to create, edit, and style text using InDesign. You get started by editing and manipulating text placed inside text frames — containers on the page that hold text content.
