Using Perspectives
As already noted, Eclipse can be used for many types of languages and development, and each language has different editor needs. To address all of the different requirements of different languages, Eclipse supports a feature called perspectives.
A perspective is a simple a group of configuration settings that you can activate as needed. As a rule, when writing ColdFusion code, you’ll want to use the CFEclipse perspective. The exception to this rule is when you are debugging ColdFusion code, in which case you’ll want to use the Debug perspective.
