Duplicating a Photo Within Carousel

There’s really only one reason to duplicate a photo within Carousel and that is so you can create multiple different versions of that photo when editing. For example, you might want to create a black-and-white version but still keep the color version, then ask your family to pick their favorite. By creating a duplicate inside of Carousel they will be able to see the two versions side by side. Just like the delete option, you’ll find the duplicate button under the Actions menu.

1. Click or tap the photo you want to duplicate to view it in Loupe view.

2. In Loupe view, click or tap the Actions icon to expand the list of actions available.

3. Click or tap the Duplicate Photo button.
