What Is Carousel?

At first glance, you might think Carousel is just another flavor of photo-sharing software, but it is actually a bit more than that. Carousel is an entire computing platform that consists of the local application running on your Mac, iPad, or iPhone that is connected to a network of computers (often referred to as the cloud; see sidebar) that allow for the seamless sharing of photos and data between all of your devices when they are connected to the Internet.
