Many utilities increase your overall efficiency when working with Windows. In general, anything that affects Windows will likely affect your performance at the command line as well, even if the effect is marginal or only environmental. However, to get the most out of the command line, you really need to improve the command line itself. That's where the utilities in this chapter come into play.
