Editing GIS services is challenging. It requires some steps, and unfortunately, there is no single well-documented and consolidated resource that discusses this section. Therefore, I made this section as detailed as possible. Editing data through a GIS service is useful in many scenarios. I can think of a scenario where this might prove to be of use; let us take the case of incident reporting.
