In this appendix, we describe the security aspects of Streams. We cover Security-Enhanced Linux (SELinux) to control and manage internal system with external system. We also include authentication features that are provided by Streams when Streams is configured to work with Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) and Pluggable Authentication Modules (PAM).
