Why Plan?

I know that you're anxious to start building something. I also know that some of you are already thinking about skipping to Chapter 2, "Getting Started with Active Server Pages." It's only natural. In many (or even most!) programming projects, planning is savagely short-changed. Programmers are eager to dive in and build something, or deadlines are so tight that they think they don't have time to plan. Management needs something by next week!
