This chapter has provided the framework for the next two chapters by explaining the configuration options for group policies in Windows Server 2003 Active Directory. This chapter discussed how to create and manage group policies using the tools available with Windows Server 2003. This chapter also discussed how group policies are inherited and applied to client computers. You can use the default inheritance model to set a group policy high in the OU hierarchy and have the GPO settings apply to many objects in the domain.
