Performing an Unattended Installation

To install Active Directory without user interaction, you can use the /answer[: filename] parameter with the Dcpromo command. With this parameter you must include the filename for the answer file. The answer file contains all of the data that is normally required during the installation process. You can also install Active Directory while installing Windows Server 2003 in unattended mode. In this scenario, you will use the E:\I386\winnt32 /unattend[: unattend.txt] command, where unattend.txt is the name of the answer file used for the full Windows Server 2003 installation.
