Monitoring and Troubleshooting Replication

One of the most useful tools for monitoring and troubleshooting replication is the Replication Monitor. This tool is installed as part of the Suptools.msi file from the Support\Tools directory on the Windows Server 2003 compact disc. To start Replication Monitor, open a command prompt and type replmon. Replication Monitor opens with a blank management tool. To begin using Replication Monitor, click Edit on the menu bar to add one or more monitored servers to the monitored servers list.
