Paul Kling, PE, PMP, completed a ­30-­year Management career with Duke Energy in 2013 focused on enterprise Project Portfolio Management, Process Design, and Business Development. He is currently involved in business consulting, as well as venture capital and ­nonprofit business development in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Every organization, large or small, exists to accomplish a set of objectives. Whether seeking financial goals, governmental administration, or altruistic social purposes, each organization accomplishes its objectives through the ongoing implementation of the aggregate projects, programs, and initiatives that it selects and ultimately ­undertakes—­its own unique “Portfolio.”
