7.11. Managing Security with ADO
Finally, one very powerful feature ADO provides is the capability to manage database security. Using ADO, you can set a database password and manage users and groups permissions (when supported). Chapter 18, which concerns Access database security, provides in-depth coverage of how to use ADO to manage security in a database solution.
ACE databases (ACCDB files) do not support User Level Security. For more information about User Level Security for Jet, please refer to Chapter 18.
