4. Listening to Music on an iPod or iPod Nano

In This Chapter

  • Pick some music, any music.
  • Control your music like a pro.
  • Shuffle your tunes to keep them fresh.
  • Create and listen to an On-The-Go playlist.
  • Check your battery.

In this chapter, you’ll learn how to listen to and control your iPod tunes. Like any other device on which you listen to music, listening to music on an iPod is a two-step process. You first select the music you want to listen to. Then you play and control that music.

As you rock on, jazz up, classical out, and so on, you’ll also find some other tasks useful, such as shuffling your tunes, creating and using an On-The-Go playlist, rating your tunes, and monitoring your battery.
