6. Sending and Receiving Email

Electronic mail (or email) is a fast, convenient, and inexpensive way to stay connected. You can send a message to anyone with an email address, and it is sent immediately. You can send a message to a friend down the street or a colleague across the world! Recipients can then, at their convenience, respond to your message.

In addition to typing messages, you can send pictures or other documents. For instance, you might want to submit an expense report to your home office. Or you can send pictures of your new puppy to your family.
