Editing Macros

This book is written for those who have very little experience with word processors. You might be thinking, “Editing macros doesn't exactly sound like something a beginner would do, does it?” What if I told you that for simple changes, it isn't much different from editing a document: Would you be interested?

You can open a macro file just as you would any other document. If all you want to do is delete an extra blank line or revise some of the text, you open the macro file and make your changes in the document window using the same techniques you use in documents. In most cases, it's faster to edit a macro than it is to create it again.

Choose Tools, Macro, Edit.
