Working with Outlines

Outlines are a lot like lists, but they add another dimension of detail. For example, in a list, every item has the same relative importance (1, 2, 3, and so on). Outline items, on the other hand, are arranged in different levels of importance (1, 1a, 1b, 2, and so on). Consider the two lists shown in Figure 11.7.
