Inserting, Clearing, and Deleting Cells, Rows, and Columns

A common situation is to start typing column headings in the first row of a spreadsheet, and after you've typed in all the information, you realize that you didn't leave enough room for a title. No problem—you can insert as many rows as you need right on top. The same thing goes for columns. If, after entering a lot of data, you realize that you need to add a column between two columns full of data, again, no problem.

The same thing is true for clearing the contents of cells or deleting the cells themselves. When you don't need the information anymore, you can get rid of it quickly.
