Understanding Functions
Quattro Pro has more than 500 built-in functions that cover a wide variety of calculations. Not only do the functions save you time in creating formulas from scratch, but they also allow you to perform calculations that would be almost impossible to create. You will find a complete list of formulas in the Help Index. In the Index tab, type “functions, list” (without the quotation marks), press the Enter key or click Display, and then double-click Quattro Pro Functions Listfrom the list of Help topics (see Figure B.8). You can also type the function name, such as @PAYMT, in the Help Index to open a help topic devoted to that function.
