Working with Cells

It's a rare day if you can create an entire spreadsheet without needing to go back and make changes to it. Whether you have typed in an incorrect value or you need to rearrange some columns, you can make these changes using the same techniques that you learned for editing text in WordPerfect.

Editing Cell Entries

Data in a cell can be edited as easily as you would edit text in WordPerfect. You get several different options for editing the contents of a cell:

  • Click in the cell and retype the entire entry.
  • Double-click in the cell and edit the entry.
  • Click in the cell, and then click in the Input box to edit the entry in the Input box (see Figure A.3).
