One of the good things about a legal pad or spiral notebook is that it's easy to share with those around you. If you're in a meeting, you can easily slide your notebook across the table to share with a colleague. However, using a notebook or legal pad makes it very difficult to share notes with those not in your immediate vicinity.

This chapter will show you how you can use OneNote to share notes between colleagues, publish the notes to the Internet, or share notes in almost real time with other users using a SharePoint site or network location.
