Saving and Reusing Advanced Searches

After you set up a search the way you want it and are satisfied with the results of the search, you can save it if you think you might want to run the search again. After all, if you can make things easy for yourself, why create the same search over and over again, possibly forgetting to enter search criteria and having to do all that work again?

You can save a search in Advanced Find in two different ways. If the search is only in mail folders, you can save it as a Search folder, as you saw earlier with saved searches in the Find pane. You can also save a search using Advanced Find as a file on your hard drive, even if folders of mixed types are used in the search.
