Using the Find Pane

To open the Find pane, select Tools, Find, Find. The Find pane appears above the folder title bar, as shown in Figure 12.1.

The Find pane includes the following features:

  • Look for— This text box provides an area for you to enter the text you want to search for in the contents of a selected folder or folders. Outlook searches the subject and address fields, and and optionally the text of all items for matches with the search text you enter. Search text is not case sensitive, meaning if you enter the search text profession, both
