Finding Things in Outlook

The first point to learn about finding things in Outlook is the difference between Find and Advanced Find. Find enables you to perform simple searches in one or more folders, with the search based on the text in the subject and address fields of items or in the subject field, address field, and text of items.

After running Find or Advanced Find, you can open items returned by the Find operation by double-clicking the item you want to open.
