Setting Up Recurring Appointments, Meetings, and Events

Appointments, meetings, and events that occur at regularly scheduled intervals are referred to as recurring items. Examples of recurring calendar items are a meeting that is scheduled every Friday, a birthday (which occurs once a year), and an appointment that is scheduled for the first day of every month.

Recurring meetings and events are created exactly the same way recurring appointments are created, and setting daily and yearly recurrence patterns is similar to creating weekly and monthly recurrence patterns.
