Two of the best pieces of advice for using Outlook are to right-click everywhere and to drag and drop items.

Many places in the Outlook user interface support right-click menus, also known as context menus because their menu commands change based on the current context. A context menu displayed when right-clicking an e-mail item is different from a context menu displayed when right-clicking a task item.

Experiment by right-clicking everywhere in the Outlook user interface and see what commands are available in the context menus that are displayed. In many cases, using the context menus is the easiest way to perform the most common actions within the current context.
