Collaboration Using Outlook

Outlook is more than just a Personal Information Manager and e-mail client; it also is used to work collaboratively with other people. Although many of Outlook's collaborative features such as shared folders and Exchange public folders are available only when you use Exchange server, some collaborative features of Outlook can be used even by individuals; for example, you can publish calendar free/busy information to the Internet and plan meetings. You will learn about using Outlook collaboratively with other people in Chapter 21, “Collaborating with Outlook and Exchange.”
