Creating Tasks

Task management in FrontPage is a way for you—especially when working with a group of people to develop and maintain a site—to keep track of who's responsible for what and what remains to be done. You can assign a task to virtually any type of work to be done on the site, from the creation of a specific Web page to individual elements like a graphic, sound file, or video.

The data available under each assigned task includes the following:

  • Status— Notes whether the work is finished or is in progress.

  • Task— Notes the specific task to be completed.

  • Assigned to— Identifies who (a specific user or an entire workgroup) is responsible for completing the task.

  • Priority— Displays the task's priority. You can assign either low, medium, ...
