Publishing a Site
After you configure the settings in the Remote Web Site Properties dialog box and click OK, the Name and Password dialog box opens. This is where you enter the user name and password provided to you by your Web host. You're then returned to the Remote Web Site view, which displays your local site on the left and the remote server on the right.
To publish your site, choose a transfer type from the bottom-right corner of the FrontPage window. You have the following three options:
Local to Remote— Used to upload new or modified pages to your Web site.
Remote to Local— Used to download Web pages from a remote computer to your local computer.
Synchronize— Used to synchronize pages between your local computer and your remote computer, ...
