Previewing at Different Resolutions

The width of a computer's screen resolution varies from machine to machine. The three most popular screen resolutions are 800×600, 1024×768, and 1280×1024. When you're ready to begin testing your Web page, it's a good idea to test all three resolutions. Pay particular attention to how the user will be affected by changing their settings. Will they be faced with the annoying task of having to scroll left or right just to read the text on your Web page?

To test your Web page in various resolutions, perform the following steps:

Switch to Page Preview view by clicking the Page Preview button at the bottom of the screen.
