Sending Form Results to a Database
As you saw in Chapter 16, “Creating Forms,” FrontPage enables you to create forms that can be used in a variety of ways. Results can be saved to a file, sent to you via email, or, as discussed here, stored in a database for later retrieval. See Chapter 16 to learn how to get a form into your Web.
Follow these steps to store form results in an existing database table:
1. | Right-click in the form and choose Form Properties to open the Form Properties dialog box. Alternatively, open the dialog box by double clicking on the <FORM> tag in the Quick Tag Selector. |
2. | Select the Send to Database option. |
3. | Click Options to open the Options for Saving Results to Database dialog box, shown in Figure 17.7.
