Fine Tuning Forms

After a form and all its controls are inserted, your form is nearly complete. However, there are some additional items you can add that will make the form more usable for both your users and you.

Adding Labels to Form Controls

Form controls by themselves aren't very explanatory. You really need to add text to instruct the user to enter necessary data. Although you could simply type the text directly on your page, FrontPage enables you to associate text with the control it represents. The added value for users is that they can simply click on the label itself to select the form control, making labels especially useful for check boxes and option buttons.
