Creating an External Style Sheet

You're about to go through the process of creating—and then learning how to add to your pages to—an external style sheet. The one you're drafting here will be very simple, but you can develop and modify it as much as you would like for the pursuit of your own design.

In this example, you're going to create a style for body text (the main text of a page) that will have a dark green font against a light yellow background. You'll also create a style for an h1 header that will look different from this body style. Then you'll have the opportunity to see the finished result.

To create a style for body text, do the following:
