Styles Versus Inline Formatting

When you first start out designing your pages, you're apt to find yourself formatting and reformatting as you work, trying to get your fonts and colors just right. Such a process is commonly referred to as inline formatting. As you already may have noticed, it's fairly time consuming and can be frustrating, too.

So let's consider a smarter, more organized approach to this process, one that you can use again and again as you create additional pages for your site. This approach involves using style sheets to help automate your work and apply consistency to your site.
