Creating Shapes

You probably noticed that the Drawing toolbar includes some basic shapes that you can use when creating your own page graphics. You may not know, however, that FrontPage also includes AutoShapes to give you a helping hand when adding common shapes such as rectangles (good for banners), stars, hearts, and even flowchart components to your page. These AutoShapes are a nice bonus for those of us who have less advanced art skills and would like to spend more of our time creating good content for our pages.

Using the Drawing Toolbar

To add an AutoShape directly from the Drawing toolbar to the page, do the following:

Click the spot on the page where you want to insert the AutoShape.
