Adding Text to Drawings

Chances are you'll want to include text as part of your drawing—perhaps to label it, to offer a message, or even to sign your name or provide a copyright mark.

The easiest way to accomplish this is through the addition of a text box to your drawing. Any text you add then appears within the dimensions of the box.

Here's how to add a text box:

1.
From the Drawing toolbar, click on the Text Box button.

Click the spot in the drawing outline where you want to place the text box.
3.
Drag the mouse pointer (usually down and to the right) until you've created the size text box you want to use (make sure it's big enough to hold the text you want to add), and release the mouse button.
