The Main Window

The most obvious area of the FrontPage screen is the main window. All your actual design and maintenance work is done here, with all the other tools and panes merely serving to make features and files available to get this work done. The appearance of this window changes depending on which view you're using. When you first open a site, the main window will be in Folders view, and it will contain a list of all the files and folders in the Web site. If you double-click one of those HTML files, such as index.htm, the main window will automatically change to Page view.
