Implement Row-Level Rules

When you attempt to save a record, Access will first check to see that all the fieldlevel validation rules are satisfied. You have seen this behavior in the previous examples. If all the field-level rules are satisfied, Access will then check the row-level, sometimes also referred to as table-level rules, to ensure that rule is satisfied as well. Table-level rules come in handy when you have to compare multiple fields to determine whether the condition passes or fails. The validation rule logic at the table level is often more complex because multiple fields have to be checked. This concept is best illustrated through an example.
