After all of this talk about clips, you probably want to know how to record your own as you have with other Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs). Great news! Recording clips in Live is very easy and can be quite inspiring. To begin, let’s take a look at the two ways to record MIDI clips in Live. You can either start out with an empty Clip Slot or an empty clip. We’ll do both, but first let’s go over the empty Clip Slot approach.
