Introduction
Peter Drucker, after reluctantly agreeing to lend his name to the Peter F. Drucker Foundation for Nonprofit Management, took on the task of writing both a preamble and a mission statement for the foundation. These guided its activities from its inception in 1990 until it was reorganized as the Leader to Leader Institute and then reorganized again on January 1, 2012, as the Frances Hesselbein Leadership Institute.
