What happens when the top brass in an organization think your boss is a genius, but his underlings know better? They know the boss is deceptive and dishonest, yet they are demoralized and unorganized themselves, so they don’t say anything. Such a situation is more likely to occur in a rigidly hierarchical organization, where the boss is the only one who has contact with higher management.
