Children are People, and People Have Rights

All countries of the developing world have large child populations, making the global South the child majority area of the world. It makes sense for these countries to accord highest priority to meeting their children’s survival and development needs; allocating the lion’s share of their resources to investment in measures benefiting children and youth. Not all of them do so, but it is on these investments that all of them should be judged.
