What Are Analytics and Statistics?
Statistics play an important
role in analytics—one cannot exist without the other. Analytics is
extracting information out of data, and statistics is
the study of the collection, analysis, interpretation, presentation,
and organization of data. We generate statistics from data, and we
then use statistics to create analysis.
