7.7. Conclusion

In this chapter, we have learned about HTML and the web server controls provided by ASP.NET. We started with a discussion of HTML server controls. We learned about the Control class, which defines the basic functionality of all server controls, and then covered all the major properties of each control available in ASP.NET. After this we learned about web server controls, which provide more unified object models and more functionality than HTML server controls. At the end of this chapter, we discussed validation controls and provided several examples of how to use them.
