Mike Collins is a music technology consultant and writer who has been making music in London's recording studios variously as a MIDI programmer, session musician, recording engineer, producer and arranger since 1981. From 1988 through to the present time, Mike has also been writing articles about music technology and the music industry in general, as well as post-production, film, broadcast, mastering and multimedia. These have appeared in a wide range of magazines around the world, including Macworld (UK), Pro Sound News Europe, Sound on Sound and AudioMedia, Electronic Musician and MIX in the USA, and so forth.
