A closer look at the different focus controls and modes

It is vital to understand the various focus modes, as well as where and how to adjust them on your camera and lens. The good news is that there are actually just a few focus modes, and they can easily be sorted into three categories: manual focus for the times when autofocus doesn’t work, autofocus for moving subjects, and autofocus for non-moving subjects.
