Where to Find Monologues

You will of course find them by reading plays. Begin first by asking your teacher or acting coach if perhaps they have a copy of the play you’re looking for (read and return it promptly!) or if they may know where you can get your hands on it. Then you can try to find them at your local university/college library, especially if they have a decent theatre department. Or you may have to do a bit of online digging. If you have a used/vintage bookstore in your town that is also a good place to look.
