Something within us insists on having a reason for moving, for taking action. That’s a good thing, as it is the lynchpin for purposeful behavior. Yet it’s often a fairly complex process to understand the reasons why we act. A central role for the coach is to help your clients uncover the reason why to do or not do something and how to respond to their particular emotions. From an internal perspective, the need for purposeful behavior may be as important as having enough oxygen is to a fire at the external level. Choices abound.
