Helping your clients value others often requires helping them value themselves more authentically. We have all known people who felt the need to increase their social status or sense of self-worth by diminishing others.
Seasoned coaches understand that their clients have learned from living where to set their expectations, and that until or unless they set about changing them, that is where they will remain.
